The following information can be found at the beginning of all of our Dennis Carpenter Parts Catalogs.

Fax Your completed order form along with year, make and model of the vehicle you are ordering for and your credit card information. Be sure to include a daytime phone number (include area code). Please include the Card Verification Number, which is the last 3 digits in the signature strip on the back, right of the card, or 4 digits on the front of your AMEX card.

Mail: Please list year, make and model of vehicle for which you are ordering, complete part numbers, and description. Include daytime telephone number (including area code). Provide complete address with street name and house number. Mail to the mailing address below. Please include the Card Verification Number, which is the last 3 digits in the signature strip on the back, right of the card, or 4 digits on the front of your AMEX card.

Customer Number: Please use your Customer Number on all order forms. If you do not have a Customer Number, one will be assigned to your account. Please use it on all future orders to speed up delivery of your parts.

Payment: Although personal checks are welcome, expect a two week delay in shipping to allow the check to clear the bank. Money orders, bank certified checks, Discover, MasterCard, Visa, and American Express may also be used. No C.O.D.’s

Shipping: Orders are shipped by our preferred carriers FedEx and UPS - Large shipments may be shipped via freight truck, freight collect. Special services are available for an additional charge. Please see shipping page for rates, handling charges, and special services.

Merchandise Return: Please inspect the merchandise upon arrival. Returns within 30 days of shipping date are acceptable.
After 30 days a 20% restocking charge will be applied. After six months a 50% restocking charge will be applied. For no reason will merchandise be accepted after one year. All returned merchandise must be accompanied by a copy of the invoice, a merchandise return authorization form included with your order and a return authoriaztion number. Please call 1-800-476-9653 to obtain a return authorization number.

Claims: All claims must be taken up with Dennis Carpenter Reproductions. Please inspect the merchandise upon receipt. If damage is found, contact our customer service dept. within 7 days. Please keep merchandise in the original carton for the carrier to inspect. No claims accepted after 15 days.

Foreign Shipments: Please call for estimates on shipping charges for international shipments.

Due to supplier price increases and decreases, PRICES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE.
Due to carrier rate increases shipping costs are subject to change without notice.

We guarantee to replace or at our option, repair any product or parts which are found to be defective in material or workmanship within one year from the date of shipment. Our obligation with respect to such products or parts shall be limited to replacement or repair F.O.B. Concord, N.C. and in no event shall we be liable for consequential or special damages, or for transportation, installation, adjustment, or other expenses which may arise in connection with such products or parts. THIS WARRANTY EXPRESSLY MADE IN LIEU OF ANY AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS.

Regardless of the size or value of the order, our minimum shipping and handling charge is $10.00.  Please review the chart below for rate ESTIMATES.

Additional Handling Charges

The chart ABOVE reflects shipping charges based on standard size items.  Please allow an additional $20.00 for individual items over 60” in length or odd shaped and bulky items.  For example: bed strips, bedwoods, bumpers, and exhaust pipes.  Allow an additional $40.00 for items such as tailgates, grille shells, floor pans, and firewall covers.  Extremely large or heavy items such as fenders, fender aprons, doors, truck headliners, scooter bodies and frames will require an additional $80.00 - $100.00 handling fee.  These items are sometimes shipped by a freight truck, freight collect to your door, depending on where you are located in the USA.

Dimensional Weight

Even though a box only weighs 10 lbs., it may be necessary to ship it as a 30 lb., 70 lb., or even a 90 lb package, depending on the overall size of the box.  This is a requirement of the parcel carriers.

Next Day Air Service

Next Day Air Service is available.

Domestic Ground Shipments
Our preferred carriers are FedEx and UPS.  We will make an exception to ship by the US Postal Service for orders valued under $100.00, size allowing.  Tracking numbers are not available for postal service orders.  Parts orders being shipped by the postal service will not leave our facility until the following Thursday.  Minimum shipping charge is $10.00, regardless of shipping method.

International Shipments

Please call or email for estimates on shipping charges for international shipments.

For Canada orders, all customs fees and shipping charges will be prepaid & added to the order total if shipping by ground. (If shipping by the US Postal Service or air service to Canada, only the shipping charges will be prepaid).  CANADA CUSTOMS FEES ARE CALCULATED @ 24% OF THE PARTS ORDER VALUE (USD).  FOR ALL OTHER COUNTRIES, THE SHIPPING CHARGES ONLY WILL BE PREPAID & CUSTOMS FEES WILL BE COLLECTED BY THE CARRIER AT TIME OF DELIVERY.  Catalogs are mailed by the U.S. Postal Service.

Merchandise Returns:


Please inspect the merchandise upon arrival.  Returns within 30 days of shipping date are acceptable.  After 30 days a 20% restocking charge will be applied.  After six months a 50% restocking charge will be applied.  For no reason will merchandise be accepted after one year.  All returned merchandise must be accompanied by a copy of the invoice, a merchandise return authorization form included with your order and a return authorization number.  Failure to have a return authorization will result in a delay and your item will be held until we can process the claim.  Please call 1-800-476-9653 for a return authorization number.

Electrical Items:

           
ALL ELECTRICAL ITEMS ARE NON-RETURNABLE and ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

This includes Starters, Distributors, Distributor Caps, Coils, Points, Switches, Spark Plugs, Fuses, Light Bulbs, Wiper Motors & Pumps, and all Wiring Harnesses & Connectors.

Carburetor Returns:

Our carburetors are tested and in proper working condition when they leave our facility.  During installation, be sure not to strip threads at any connections.  Be sure there is no water or debris in the gasoline.  Do not attempt to disassemble the carburetor or make any repairs.  If you suspect the carburetor is defective call our CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPT @ 1-800-476-9653, OPTION 2 and request a Return Authorization Number.

Place the item back in the original packaging and return to Carpenter Industries via UPS GROUND only.  When received back, we will test for any defective or damaged areas.  If found to be defective, we will replace or issue a full refund, including return shipping.  If the carburetor has been damaged during installation, no refund will be given and the carburetor will be returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.

Warranty
