Located in the heart of NASCAR country, Carpenter Industries is fourteen miles north of downtown Charlotte, North Carolina. The company site encompasses approximately 300,000 square feet of manufacturing, warehousing, and retailing.
The year 2010 marks the 40th anniversary of Dennis Carpenter Ford Restoration Parts.
It all began in 1968 when Dennis was unable to locate plastic interior knobs for a 1940 Ford Deluxe convertible that he was restoring.
After countless hours of research and experimentation with various plastic formulas in his home basement, Dennis fabricated some plastic injection molds and successfully produced his first dash knobs in 1970 .

Dennis Carpenter Ford Restoration Parts has carefully developed a reputation for manufacturing original style Ford products that are made to fit and look like the originals.
Manufacturing processes at the Concord, North Carolina facility include metal stamping, rubber molding and extruding, plastic injection molding and metal die casting.
Quality restoration parts are available for 1932-1972 Ford and Mercury cars, 1932-1996 Ford pickup trucks, 1939-1964 Ford tractors, and 1939-1964 Cushman Motor scooters.
Since 1993, Dennis Carpenter Ford Restoration Parts has been licensed to manufacture Ford trademark parts.
